AIGA New Orleans is turning 10 years old in 2009 and we're throwin' a big ass party at The Wax Museum!
Saturday, January 31, 2009 from 7-10pm
Musee Conti Wax Museum
917 Conti Street
N.O., LA
504-525-2605
Forged from the ranks of veteran ADDA members, AIGA New Orleans was conceived and birthed back in the sweltering summer months right before the turn of the century.
A few brave souls undertook this daunting task, and thankfully for us they did, because our chapter has grown significantly and continues to evolve in new and exciting ways.
Members and non-members alike are welcome to join us for a night of eating, drinking and reminiscing.
We'll have DJ Brice Nice spinning, a historical retrospective of graphic design in southern Louisiana, raffles for exceedingly sweet schwag (CS4, Cochon Gift Cert, t-shirts, posters, Dirty Coast Gift Cards, etc.), birthday cake and more! We're also going to have commemorative t-shirts and posters for sale which were designed by local artist, Erik Kiesewetter.
The deal is...
Members: Free
Non-Members: $20
*Note: Non-Members who come with a member will get in for half price. If you're an AIGA member, please be sure to bring your membership card, or some other form of proof of affiliation. Thanks!
So we have a better idea of how many folks to expect, please take a moment to RSVP using this form on our web site. (scroll down to bottom of page)
See you all January 31st at the Musee Conti!

I'm not technically a member, but my plan is to go to the museum early and hide out in the Chaz exhibit and then once the event starts walk out like nothing happened. Shh!!
