Helena Moreno is our Sarah Palin.
I will vote for Jefferson because we deserve what we asked for. Lets do what we did with Nagin and put someone who has failed us back into office because he is familiar and African American.
Get him back in office so he can be walked out in handcuffs and then maybe we will have someone appointed who possesses actual experience and ideas.
So I have to ask, Is Helena Moreno out Sarah Palin?

PLEASE tell me you are kidding! Please do everything you can to get someone besides Bill Jefferson in there. We desperately need someone from the 2nd who can get some committee appointments. Every day of delay is another day of other states gaining seniority while we are stuck with "Dead End" Jefferson. Forget his criminal tendencies! We need him out because he can not negotiate for the 2nd district since he is lacking the respect of his peers.
ANY warm body will do, and Helena Morano is the warm body that won this stupid primary of ours. So for the sake of our city, please get out and hold you nose and vote for Helena Morano. If you can't do that then please abstain from voting.
