Seattle? Really? You had it done in Seattle?
So I was looking for some info on the Saints game in London and went to the Saints' official site to look around.
2 things really bothered me about the experience:
1) The site really is crappy. It could and should be so much better.
2) The site was built by a company in Seattle.
What is wrong with local companies that look elsewhere for web development and design when there are plenty of firms locally who can do the work.
So sad to see this from our own team. Oh well.

Yeah, this seems totally strange to me considering that the city and the big businesses typically have the citizens in mind when they make decisions.
Seattle has hit some hard times with all of those Starbucks closings. The Saints are just giving back to those who really need it.

It would make sense for the Saints to keep that in mind, but really are there fully capable companies in New Orleans to setup such a huge site? Are there any firms other than Trumpet or Peter Mayer with a dedicated enough staff to handle such a project?

Yes. I can name 6 local studios who could do the work and far better than the firm in Seattle.
